The first Blue Heron was developed in 1995 as a project addressing the issues of bringing powered parachute flight to a new level.  Since its inception in the early 1980's, the powered parachute has been reveled as the safest form of aviation.  Our approach was that, in accepting current safety standard, we should not excuse ourselves from striving for better standards for tomorrow.  Heldeberg Designs LLC has a history of working to advance our product, serve our customers, and being constantly educated.
